Zion National Park Engagement Photos

Now happily based in Colorado, we still love traveling for weddings. And sometimes we’re lucky enough to have couples that we can convince to meet us in spectacular places. (Or do they convince us?!) Kirk and Darcy were like the icing on our wedding cake with these Zion National Park Engagement photos.

They met us before sunrise looking dapper and ready to shine. From there the day continued to fill our hearts and our memory cards as we couldn’t stop taking pictures. That is until the light got harsh and the trails crowded, but by then we had already been exploring for hours and were ready for lunch anyway.

Fellow National Park lovers, we get to hang out with these two again this fall. Next time it will be in the breathtaking Yosemite. Which reminds me that Marc likes to call Zion his “red Yosemite.” Watching these two hold hands, make each other laugh, and daydream about the future was fantastic. Seeing them experience Zion made it even more enchanting.

Excited to show these two why Zion is a favorite of ours we took them to a few of our favorite spots where red rocks tower overhead. The river was raging and the clouds provided a delicate allure. As though Zion could be any more alluring.

Zion plus Darcy plus Kirk equaled a deadly combination for our cameras and we can’t wait to share these photos. They’ve made a habit of celebrating their love in places that have the power to enhance and highlight it. I can’t wait to see where life takes them next!
