Colorado Springs Engagement Photos

These Colorado Springs engagement photos near Woodland park recharged our creative batteries in a way we needed. Hanging out with Lauren and Jeff in the fairy-tale-like meadow that is essentially their backyard was magical. We’re beyond grateful to have met these two and can’t wait for their wedding day.

Marc and I love scouting new locations for photography sessions. However, there’s something pretty special about shooting something the first time we get to see it. It’s even more special when you feel like you’re in a movie because the location is so incredible.

Lauren and Jeff had a vision of shooting their engagement photos in places near their home that meant something to them. We were immediately on board for the idea and after the experience we plan to always take their suggestions seriously. I still can’t get over how much fun we had with these two.

We’re excited to share these photos with you and more importantly the lessons we learned. Get outside somewhere and enjoy what is around you. Your backyard may not look like this but chances are there is something great nearby that you can either take for granted or incorporate into your day.

In conclusion, the answer is yes. If you want to show me your favorite spots, I’m in. While I love being a tour guide of some of my favorite places, I love when others share theirs with me too.
