Halter Ranch Wedding | Karen and Alec
Karen and Alec are bubbling over with beauty and love. Her’s is actually the bubbly kind while his is more stoic, but don’t worry he gets a little giddy too. I love the chemistry between these two which can also be seen in their Sequoia National Park River engagement. We love knowing that they have someone so fun to share the ups and downs of marriage with, starting with the joy of their Halter Ranch wedding.
The wedding day was full of emotion. None of the stressful kind, only the joyful kind. Maybe that had something to do with the people, the fact the Karen (the bride) has mad planning skills, or just the depth of the joy. Who has time to be stressed when they’re so happy?!
Marc has known Alec for a long time so it was a bonus to see some of our favorite groomsmen again. You might see some familiar faces from Eric and Lauren’s wedding in 2014… can that be right?! 2014? It really did take Alec a long time to make this marriage happen 😉 We’re glad the day arrived and that we got to be there to capture it! (Insert some quote about a perfectly aged wine here.)
Halter Ranch was a stunning setting for these two to tie the knot. They exchanged vows on a dock, had a romantic walk in the wine caves, celebrated their ceremony amongst friends, exchanged sunset kisses in the vineyards, and then danced the night away with an amazing band and crucial tambourine.
Somewhere in there we ate a delicious meal and heard heartfelt toasts. I was lucky enough to overhear the maid of honor asking Karen what she most loved about Alec in an intimate setting and then share it with the guests as part of her toast. Cheers you two!

Alec and Karen, everything was amazing and even more beautiful than we could have imagined even knowing your impeccable taste. This Halter Ranch wedding and all the amazing people has us sad to leave California! We’ll be back!
