Elegant Sequoia National Park Engagement Photography

I can’t wait to introduce you to Louise, John, and Zander. They are one classy couple with an adorably giant dog! Louise and John were a blast to get to know and to photograph. And Zander was downright lovable. We are blown away by the couples we get to work with and the love we get to celebrate. In general, I really enjoy hearing stories about how a couple met. Consequently when I asked, John proceeded to tell his version with big smiles, laughs, and obvious love for his soon-to-be wife. As I’m sure John would agree, Louise is not “just” cute. After all, he wouldn’t have set out on such a chase for just any cute girl. She’s stunning. She has an obvious and infectious joy for life. These two make a great match and their love is as big as their dog. Which is big! Their elegant Sequoia National Park engagement PhotoDate is bound to take your breath away.

We met up with them at Reimer’s in Three Rivers and kicked the shoot off with a little ice-cream. That helped set the tone for what would be a sweet and playful day. We made our way between a few of our favorite spots both in the foothills and the mountains. Louise and John didn’t hesitate to hike around and explore for great views and great photos. They brought a little elegance to Sequoia National Park and were rewarded with perfect weather and a beautiful sunset.

Zander was disappointed whenever he had to wait in the car because he knows that he’s quite the model himself! Even though he could easily knock me over, all he did was steal my heart. The only thing cuter was the two little bear cubs we saw. There was a traffic jam on our way to Morro Rock. We saw a bear and almost drove by when we spotted two little bear cubs in the tree.
