Behind the Scenes with Our Adventurous Couples
We’re a little late getting a behind the scenes wedding photography blog post out this year. (I can’t imagine why!) It’s a blast to look back through the season a see all the fun we had with our adventurous couples. A big thank you to all of our couples that explored and adventured with us even as my baby bump grew and Marc wound up with a broken arm!

2018 in review
We were lucky enough to kick 2018 off with the adventurous Allie and Scotty and their skiing engagement session. We followed that with some mountain biking in Moab with Michelle and Matt. You might notice we had a helper for part of that one!
That was only the beginning of a spectacular year. We laughed, we cried, and we danced.
We had an amazing time scouting and exploring new mountain locations for Colorado engagement photography. Therefore, we’re already counting down to when the snow melts off those mountain roads. Marc’s already making plans for road trips in 2019.
The magnetic Louise and John led us to France for their destination wedding photography. Scouting portrait locations with a croissant in hand brought us to a whole new level of creativity. (That and not speaking the language!)
Per usual, you will see Marc balancing on rocks. You’ll see us standing in some spectacular places for weddings, elopements, and more. And most importantly, you’ll see us loving what we do and working hard for the shot.
Of course, I worked harder! 😉 (Second to last picture: me shooting the amazing Mary and Taylor’s Sapphire Point winter wedding only days before baby Bergreen was born. Last picture: the talented Jesse LaPlante subbing in for me while I made my graceful exit to maternity leave.)
We survived wind, snow, rain, fog, heat, and epic dance parties. Our gratitude is limitless for the couples that trust us with their photos, itineraries, and wedding dresses. Seriously!

The hardest part of putting together this post was narrowing down our favorites. 2018 was a memorable year and we’re fortunate to have the photos to re-live it. Thanks again and again to our inspirational and adventurous couples.
