Intimate Sequoia Wedding with a Sonoma Wedding Reception

It was extremely difficult to choose photos for a preview from Chris and Brianna’s California wedding weekend. We had so much fun with them over multiple days of joyful events celebrating their love. We are blown away that we had the opportunity to meet and get to know this phenomenal couple. They are so great to be around that your smile and laughter muscles get a solid workout! They also are a blast to photograph with their breath-taking smiles and adventurous spirits. After three days of having us follow them around you’d think they’d be tired of photos but it seemed that they were distracted by all the fun they were having, which is exactly how it should be. They made important decisions that led to them having the wedding of their dreams. I admire the thought they put into the decisions they made and know that it’s a sign of a wonderful partnership. They exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Sequoia National Park with their immediate families and then we headed north for their Sonoma Wedding reception. They greeted guests for a tour and wine cave pizza party at Benziger Family Winery and then followed it up with their Kenwood Inn and Spa wedding reception. It was a great way to make sure that they had quality time together with their families and also got to celebrate with the rest of their loved ones.

Chris and Brianna’s Sequoia ceremony was personal and intimate. They exchanged beautiful words in a beautiful place and then showed us their dedication to hiking and sunsets by making record time up the mountain… in their wedding clothes. We hit the summit just in time for a gorgeous sunset to top off their wedding day. As a couple they both compliment and balance each other perfectly. Their shared joys like nature and sunsets keep them connected to one another. Chris’ contagious charisma is balanced by Brianna’s more quiet wisdom. Don’t even get me started on the amazing people around them, their family and friends were beyond welcoming making us feel like we’ve been a part of this crowd for years. The fact that we get to meet couples like Chris and Brianna reminds me how lucky we are to be wedding photographers.
