Golden Colorado Winter Engagement

We had an absolute blast last Saturday exploring the Colorado Railroad Museum, downtown Golden, and Lookout Mountain with Lauren and James. It was an awesome Golden Colorado winter engagement… in March! The recent snow made everything feel like a wonderland. Well, perhaps it looked like a wonderland and felt like ice. (My fingers felt much better after I put gloves on.) This is a couple after our own hearts. They love to travel, recently moved to Colorado, and enjoy working together. Also James has some pretty good mountain biking experience so we’ll be able to pick his brain for good trails once the snow melts. Golden was one of their favorite places when they were deciding to move here so it was fitting that we met them there for their PhotoDate. They introduced us to the Colorado Railroad Museum which was awesome, and a safe way to photograph trains which I appreciate! They took us to a rad little speakeasy in downtown Golden, and then we headed back outside to brave the cold and watch the sunset. They may have been shivering and chattering but they never complained. I think I get it though, it’s hard to complain with views like these and a girl like that on your arm!

This PhotoDate is a reminder of why engagements are one of our favorite parts of what we do. Hanging out in Golden with this rad couple was the perfect Saturday! Only beautiful views and an inspirational couple could make me forget that I can’t feel my toes as I stomp through the snow to get a better angle. Thanks to Lauren and James for such a fun day and best wishes for all to come.
