We met Kelly and Ian for their Colorado engagement pictures on a mountain a few days after the first big snow of 2020, which came early! The fresh snow on the peaks made for a beautiful backdrop and in good Colorado form we had spectacular weather. It’s all about luck, or perspective… or luck and perspective.
It’s been a roller coaster watching couples experience the ups and downs of this year and seeing them roll with the punches and find the bright side of everything. Weddings and romance in 2020 is about balancing the practical with the poetic, the whimsical with the whatjusthappened, and celebrating the beautiful sunset when it appears.
We’re excited to count down the days to see these two make their marriage official. It may not be in the original location or with the original guest list, but the love might even be stronger. Congrats you two!
