China Peak Mountain Wedding Photography

Libby and Keith celebrated their wedding on China Peak surrounded by their rambunctious friends and family. We loved seeing the band of RVs parked in the parking lot and witnessing their friends party into the night. We’re excited to share their China Peak Mountain wedding photography and show your the way this rad couple throws a party.

There are a few things you must know. Keith is ski patroller at China Peak ski resort, so their ties to this venue go beyond their love for the mountains. We also have a few strings connecting us to them. We met Libby at a wedding a few years ago when the couple, Ryan and Andrea, sat us next to their outdoorsy friends figuring we would get along! Libby looked a lot like a good friend of mine and as it turned out, they were sisters. I met Melanie (the brides sister) through another mutual friend. Sometimes connections and coincidences are more like “meant to be.”

The guests took the chair lift to the ceremony, the bride and groom explored even higher with us for some views, and the speeches and dances brought the crowd to tears. One of my favorite moments was when the father daughter dance turned into the grandfather granddaughter dance. Everyone we met was warm, welcoming, and excited to be celebrating. I’m sure that could have been the altitude and open bar but I have a feeling this couple simply attracts good people!

More importantly, we look forward to you showing up at our door in Colorado with Libby’s new AT ski set-up. Maybe bring along Melanie and her family, Ryan and Andrea, and that “fella from the wedding everyone seemed to like so much.” Sorry, I couldn’t resist a good wedding crashers quote and it was easier than writing Ugly’s nickname.
