Big Sur Honeymoon Photography | Destination Wedding

Big Sur is the perfect place for a honeymoon. The views are unforgettable and the place seems to amplify love. As if Jordan and Jackie’s love could possibly be amplified! A walk in the redwoods quiets the mind and waves crashing on rocks ignites the soul. However, it must be the cute sea otters surfing and playing that makes us never want to leave. We’re grateful to Jordan and Jackie for the excuse to spend an intoxicating evening in Big Sur. Getting to photograph these two lovebirds was an absolute treat. They tied the knot it Florida and then met up with us for some Big Sur honeymoon photography. They planned to exchange some private vows together on the coast and we couldn’t have been more honored to capture it. We met this rad couple at Aly and Sam’s Ten Mile Station Breckenridge wedding. It seems like our amazing clients have amazing friends and we can’t wait to introduce you.

Jordan and Jackie showed up with that newlywed glow. You know the one. A shiny new wedding band that the groom may or may not have almost forgotten! They were full of love for each other and joy at their surroundings. They made us smile, laugh, and go a little trigger happy. We were treated with a spectacular sunset that poked its way through the fog that was gradually rolling in. Right when this couple was exchanging their vows. We had been looking forward to catching up with these two somewhere so spectacular. From talking with them we learned that they often get too caught up in the moment, talking and laughing, and forget to take photos. Therefore, they were excited to have some photos together and we were excited to make that happen. Sometimes I wonder if they were too caught up in the moment to notice we were there… or if they just happen to be amazing models!

Meeting new couples and making new friends is a pretty special way to spend our days. We had only met this couple once but exploring Big Sur with them was like meeting up with old friends. There’s something about fellow lovers of adventure, nature, and exploration. Jordan and Jackie’s PhotoDate and vow exchange is a great reminder that there are other special moments to capture beyond the wedding day. Moments that remind you how much fun life is with someone special to share it with. Moments that remind you how beautiful the places and the people that surround us are.
