Trisha and James Intimate Sequoia Wedding Preview | Sequoia Wedding Photographer

We met Trisha at James in Sequoia National Park on Saturday morning for their intimate mountain wedding. The weather felt more like summer than Spring in stark contrast to our own wedding four years ago (almost to the day) when it was snowing in Sequoia. Like us, Trisha and James got married in Three Rivers, in the foothills of the Sierras, near the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Before tying the knot, they and their guests made the trek up the switchbacks and into the great outdoors in order to enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the mountains and the big tress of Sequoia.

Here’s what we’ve learned from a few couples that have planned to elope in Sequoia National Park: People will want to be there! It’s such a stunning location that Trisha and James had friends and family come from all over to celebrate their wedding day. It was a small and casual affair but the beauty of the bride, the mountains, and the spread served by the Ol’ Buckaroo made it glamorous!

Prep venue: Wuksachi Lodge
