Maddy and Justin stole our hearts with their Shrine Pass Vail engagement photography. These two were game for a hike and a scramble if it meant enjoying an amazing Colorado sunset over the Rockies. We were in luck! The views, the wildflowers, the sunset, and the moon all greeted us to help celebrate the love of this couple. Days like this don’t feel like work, they feel like a dream. Hiking up a spectacular trail with rad new friends, swapping stories, and creating great images is something we could do everyday.

When we work with out-of-state couples we often end up acting as tour guides and finding great places to shoot. With Maddy and Justin, they were the Vail locals and had amazing spots to show us. We had driven by the trailhead countless times, we had set intentions of enjoying the hike up Shrine Pass, but not until Maddy and Justin led us up the trail did we see exactly what we had been missing! It’s clear that these two are a great team and we’re both excited and grateful to help them make it official.
