Sequoia Elopement Photography | Taylor and Saji

“I love” seems like a fitting way to start a blog post about an amazing couple and their closest friends gathering together for a Sequoia National Park wedding. So here goes, I love watching peoples faces when they see the giant Sequoia trees, lush meadows, or epic views that the park has to offer. I love the natural poetry that comes pouring out during ceremonies in such spiritual places. I love sharing some of our favorite places or facts about this breathtaking National Park and watching people soak in the power of the mountains. This Sequoia Elopement Photography will help you understand why many couples are choosing to forgo the traditional wedding in favor of something more intimate.

Sometimes you meet people and feel instantly welcomed. It’s almost as if you’ve known them for years. And then, of course, you remember you’ve only met a few times over video chat. That’s how it was with Taylor and Saji as well as their families and friends. While we love weddings of all sizes and encourage people to do what suits them, one of the things we love about small weddings and elopements is the intimacy. It was amazing to see Taylor and Saji surrounded by their closest friends and family as they committed to one another.

They planned an amazing few days with their families basking in the sunshine of Three Rivers and driving Generals Highway to stand in the presence of the big trees. Their wedding day consisted of wandering the forest together, hiking to the summit of moro rock, posing in beautiful spots, and celebrating with an intimate reception at the Wuksachi Lodge. Watching them hold each other reaffirmed why we think a wedding day is all about the experience. As artists, love is our muse. Therefore, it was an honor to be in the presence of this love filled couple. We hope you enjoy this preview of their Sequoia elopement photography.
