Intimate Boulder Wedding Photography

We feel pretty fortunate to photograph everything from cozy elopements where we act as witnesses to big bash, all-night, all-out weddings. It’s hard to have a favorite when every couple is unique and therefore should do what feels right for them. One thing I have been noticing lately is that with the desire to elope and keep things simple and stress free, there can also be a desire to have some family there to share in the experience. Robin and Geoffrey are a great example of compromise and we can’t wait to share their intimate Boulder wedding photography.

These two probably would have gotten married on the top of a mountain somewhere, which undoubtedly would have been amazing. Instead, they picked a location with enough adventure to made them feel true to themselves while still allowing their guests to make it to the ceremony location. Of course, we followed it up with some photos in the mountains to kick off their honeymoon adventures.

Sometimes we get the opportunity to get to know our couples pretty well before their wedding day but once in awhile the first time we meet in person is on the wedding morning. That was the case with Robin and Geoffrey which feels like a lie when I say it because from the moment we met, they felt like old friends. They were playful, fun, and easy to be around. Their love and enthusiasm was contagious. Their passion for adventure, and more importantly for adventuring together, brought smiles to our faces that pop up whenever we think of them.
