Sunrise Engagement Photos in Winter

These sunrise engagement photos will have you waking up early every day. Or at least you’ll want to, you’ll think about it, and you’ll remember why sunrise is the best. I have to thank Ben and Brittany for that.

I wasn’t so sure that waking up for sunrise in the mountains in the dead of winter was such a good idea. You see, while we want epic photos for our couples we also want them to have a good and memorable experience. But the communication said that the stoke was high so I had faith.

Sometimes I’m a bit embarrassed at how giddy and excited I get about beautiful things. So as I was skipping towards the viewpoint realizing we were about to get an epic sunrise, I was inclines to be self conscious. Instead, Brittany was right there with me rejoicing at how the sky was on fire.

And that was how the morning went! Yes, it was cold and we were slapped in the face by the wind. But we were also kissed gently by the sun and surrounded by pink clouds and white mountains.

Getting to know Ben and Brittany this way made me realize how much I appreciate adventurous people who share my love of the outdoors. I feel connected to them, to the mountains, and to my creativity.

Hopefully that’s evident in the images we were able to capture!
