Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement

Nothing says springtime like an awesome Colorado afternoon in the snow, sun, snow, sun, snow. We watched the forecast with amusement as we prepared for Aly and Sam’s Rocky Mountain National Park engagement PhotoDate. Luckily, we knew that this couple was game for adventure regardless. What we didn’t know was exactly how adorable they are. Their laughs and kisses were hovering right on the surface ready for frequent appearances throughout the afternoon. No acting, posing, or fake smiles here. We love watching couples together and some couples (like these two) have absolutely no problem when we say “just forget about us and enjoy each other.” Typically I love that Marc and I are pretty much the same height but it was pretty darn cute watching Aly’s excitement as she got up on tip-toes to give Sam a kiss. (Not to mention what that probably does for her calf muscles!)

Aly and Sam are fun to be around and easy to talk to. It’s pretty awesome to be in a beautiful place with people that help you appreciate it even more. The mountains were stunning, peaking out in between snow flurries like a little reward for our patience and endurance. The weather turned out perfect allowing us to capture the true diversity of a mountain engagement. “Love in sunshine and in wind, through snowstorms and through hail, till darkness do we part to go find a hot meal!” Oh Colorado, you do not disappoint! We’re so excited for this couple, their wedding, their marriage, and all of the adventures they’ve had and will have. There’s no shortage of weather to endure in life and no better couple to make the absolute best of it. Enjoy this Rocky Mountain National Park engagement and may it be reminder to you, as it was to us, to never let the forecast hold you back from an adventure.
