Majestic Yosemite Hotel and Yosemite Chapel Wedding Photography

Ruby Ann and Michael joined their friends and family for an intimate ceremony in natures cathedral. The Majestic Yosemite Hotel and Yosemite Chapel wedding was something to feel grateful for. As the forecast created hype for an impending storm, preparations were made.

Umbrellas were purchased and warm clothes were packed. We prepared to be flexible with our location plans for portraits. And then the rain never came. Instead we had beautiful light and a magical sky.

This couple was a pleasure to photograph and spending time with their families was a kick. Even with a small wedding there is still a little stress and anticipation. Counting down to exchanging vows and rings requires patience.

Ruby Ann seemed to me like she was ready to burst. She was excited to call Michael her husband. When it was finally time to face each other and make it official at their Yosemite Valley Chapel ceremony, she let out a little squeal and a jig!

The day was full of adorable moments like that making it a dream to witness.

As we left, Marc and I reflected on the truth shared by Father Joel during the ceremony. He shared thoughts on the importance of being tender and kind hearted towards one another not just during courtship but throughout the years of marriage. It was a great reminder.

We wish Ruby Ann and Michael that quality of enduring love and friendship for all the peaks and valleys of life. We’re excited to share this preview. It serves as proof that sometimes a storm brings fantastic lighting and sets the mood for an ethereal wedding day.
