Latest Adventures and Family Photos | Evergreen Photographer

The blog has been a little quiet lately but our house hasn’t! We welcomed our daughter into the world in February. We’re excited to share a few family photos to let you know we’re still here and getting back to work. In fact, perhaps you noticed the new website design? Needless to say, we’ve been busy. I’m not one for overusing the word “busy” as a casual answer to “how are you?” but in this case I feel like it’s warranted.

Everything they say is true about becoming a parent. It is extremely hard and exhausting. It’s also a new crazy kind of love. On our first trip to California, when our baby girl was only a few weeks old, I was in a crowded airport bathroom with a screaming baby changing a diaper. I’m still self-conscious when making a scene but most people walked by and kindly smiled. One lady stopped to take a closer look, wish me congrats, and comment on how “it’s a crazy kind of love isn’t it.” I thought that summed it up perfectly. How else could something so messy, so noisy, and so needy bring us so much joy?

Our blog has not only been on pause because fitting work in-between naps and feedings is a challenge. We’ve also been working on fixing up our website. We merged bergreenphotography.com and bergreenblog.com into one and we’re utilizing a new client gallery system. Take a look around and let us know your thoughts. In the meantime, feast your eyes on our newest team member and check out what we’ve been up to in these family photos.

Thanks for your patience while we catch up on sleep! We’re headed to California next week for some shoots with some pretty awesome couples. We can’t wait to share the beauty of Sequoia, Yosemite, and Big Sur so stay tuned.
