Festive Fall Camp Hale Wedding

We can’t get enough of this adventurous, joyful, and magnetic couple. Getting to know Carly and Bryce during their Leadville Colorado engagement we discovered their easy going personalities which make them extremely fun to photograph. A few details that I loved include the fact that the groomsmen wore carhartts and the bridesmaids had Patagonia fleece jackets. The wedding was absolutely beautiful but with a practical element. After all, we were in the mountains and winter was coming. Literally. We had amazing weather for the wedding but a storm was on the way later that night. I know you can’t tell by the clear skies that allowed for star photos. Sharing this festive fall Camp Hale wedding preview is such a treat.

Bryce words still put a smile on my face. He was thanking everyone and talking about how they thought they didn’t even want a wedding but that they were encouraged to have one and now can’t imagine anything different. Having everyone come together to celebrate put smiles on their faces. He was also excited about the surprise of seeing Carly in her wedding dress for the first time. Having experienced a variety of weddings as a wedding photographer I believe that there is no right or wrong way to get married. However, there’s something about making a big deal out of a big moment. There’s something about having a party centered around love. And there is definitely something about the external representation of an internal feeling. Love like the love that Carly and Bryce have should be celebrated! And celebrated it was!

Camp Hale was a spectacular setting for this wedding. The rugged beauty complimented this bride and groom nicely. Cheers you two, we can’t wait to see where your love takes you.
