Sunshine Mountain Lodge Wedding Photos

If you recall from their Loveland Pass engagement photos, this couple is one of a kind! Kassi and Dan have been so fun to get to know and work with. If you know some of the details of our personal life, our due date for baby Bergreen 2.0 was strikingly close to Kassi and Dan’s wedding date. Being the fun-loving and laid-back people that they are, they still wanted us to take their Sunshine mountain Lodge wedding Photos.

Luckily for us, and them, we called in Jesse of J La Plante to work with Marc for this wedding. They kicked things off with a beautiful snowy ceremony. There is nothing like big snow flakes falling on your head while you say your vows. A couple after our own hearts, they had guests sign prayer flags that surrounded their ceremony.

It was full day celebration with tacos for lunch and bbq for dinner followed by dancing and merriment with friends. Since it was a cold winter day, everyone stayed cozy in the cabins that provided ambiance and a homey feel. Added to the comfort and fun of the day, their loving dogs joined in all the festivities.

Kassi and Dan even headed outside for some snowy evening portraits. Luckily they were both sporting new insulated vans! Few couples are lucky enough to get a true winter wonderland wedding with big snowflakes falling gently on the day. It’s not something you can plan, predict or guarantee. Several inches of fresh snow coated the trees making a beautiful backdrop.
