As long as I can remember I have been passionate about telling stories through photos. Bringing back memories to share with others and documenting experiences to trigger faded memories still inspires me. I love the freedom of the wilderness and believe that it should be experienced and protected.

Raised in Northern California, I was initially inspired by backpacking through the Sierra Nevada mountains. Exploring and climbing in the mountains has always been an important part of my life and I am thankful to have the opportunity to incorporate that into my work sharing it with our clients. My passion for outdoor sports includes almost anything human-powered: backpacking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking.

I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Mechanical Engineering but quickly learned that I wanted to forge my own path. I still love all things technical especially when it comes to photography or outdoor gear. Brenda and I built Bergreen Photography as a key ingredient to building a life we can be proud of.
