brenda bergreen
photographer, writer, yoga teacher, wife, mom, and lover of all things outdoors
Being a storyteller allows me to use both sides of my brain. It allows me to problem-solve and be creative. It allows me to be outside and explore spectacular places. It means every day is different. And perhaps most importantly, being a photographer means I get to work with some pretty amazing people and tell their stories.
Growing up in Colorado meant I grew up seeing the mountains every day. It is no surprise I fell in love with climbing them. I graduated from Cal Poly with a BS is Architectural Engineering and a minor in Communication Studies. That’s where I met Marc Bergreen. We met because of our shared passion for outdoor adventure.
That shared passion eventually led us to quit our jobs, build Bergreen Photography, and move back to Colorado. We now live in Evergreen, CO with our two kids and try to juggle all the things we love about life.
Check out some of my musings on our blog where I talk about creativity, photography, and business tips such as marketing. View more of my photography writing on ShotKit, Petapixel, and AdventurePro. Below you’ll find video projects from both personal and client work as well as tearsheets from editorial projects.
