Our focus is on documenting the beauty of the people, the place, and the events you plan for your wedding! During the majority of your wedding, we work in a documentary style where we are not posing or directing, simply capturing events as they happen. At some point during the day, usually around sunset, we will take photos of just the bride and groom. During this time we will give some direction regarding what to do but we try to create the best experience possible, often encouraging couples to enjoy the moment and look out at the view. This allows for a natural look. You’ll get the hang of it on your engagement PhotoDate so it will come very naturally on the wedding day.

We work with couples who say they are awkward or uncomfortable all the time. We do our best to get to know you and put you at ease so you can look and feel natural. It also helps to focus on your love for each other or the mountain views. We help you plan a stress-free day because the better your experience, the better the photos. Sometimes we tell jokes but that usually ends with people laughing at us instead of with us… whatever works right 😉

You may have noticed that we can be seen shooting Colorado weddings, California weddings, mountain weddings, beach weddings, and more. As adventurous Colorado mountain wedding photographers, we travel throughout Colorado, California, and beyond to your outdoor wedding destination. We love weddings and we love to travel. We do our best to keep travel fees to a minimum so that you are paying for photography. There are no travel fees for locations in or near Evergreen, CO or Visalia, CA or if you meet us somewhere that we already plan to be. For weddings within California or Colorado but more than 75 miles OR one hour from Evergreen or Visalia, we simply require two nights of accommodations. Travel fees outside of either state are based on the destination. Be sure to check out our travel dates or get in touch.

We would love to capture this special time in your lives. We call your engagement session a PhotoDate, it is part photoshoot and part double date. It is a fun part of the wedding planning process and a great opportunity to get to know each other and have an experience all while creating images. As you’ve seen in our marketing, we are a husband and wife photography team. Our Colorado wedding packages for big or small weddings come with two photographers, Marc and Brenda Bergreen, for your wedding day. (Or options for one photographer and one videographer.)

It’s your wedding and our first goal is to capture your special day. All your specific requests will be covered in your pre-wedding consultation with us. We are always looking to connect with our clients and create a remarkable experience.

Enough to cover the event without overwhelming you with duplicates. You can expect somewhere in the ballpark of 600 edited photos although the exact quantity varies based on the wedding.

In addition to culling the images and selecting the very best for delivery, we color-correct and make minor edits on all of the photos. Our style is very pure and true to life. We like to edit our images in a timeless way that won’t go out of style and will continue to spark your memory for years to come. While we may enhance a photo to draw your attention somewhere or remove distracting elements, we like to keep it real and use our creativity when creating the photo.

First, you receive an online gallery where you can view and download web-resolution files that can be shared online. (We do always appreciate that you tag us on social media when appropriate.) If you purchased the digital image collection with your package, you will also receive a thumb drive with high-resolution files and a print release that allows you to print the photos for personal use. We do also offer prints and products through our website and are here to help you turn your photos into printed art.

It rained on our wedding day, we hear it’s supposed to be good luck! As experienced Colorado mountain wedding photographers we are adaptable and always seek to capture the best moments in every situation. Our wedding packages start with 8 hours of wedding coverage. You can add additional hours to your package whenever you want. The more time we spend with you the more of a story we can tell. We suggest 8 hours as a good starting point for most weddings while some end up closer to 10 or 12. For mini weddings, 6 hours might work and for elopements, 3-4 hours is a good place to start. Reach out and we’ll help you determine how many hours you need for your big day.

Wedding videography is the perfect way to capture those wedding memories that photos don’t do justice. You can capture a great photo of a speech or a dance but you can’t hear the words or see the dance moves. Videos are a great addition to your package and we offer ceremony videos, reception videos, and highlight reel videos. You can add wedding videography to your wedding photography package and get the same seamless experience and benefits of our teamwork.

We love everything from intimate weddings to big wedding weekend bashes complete with rehearsal dinner coverage. As you begin your wedding planning it’s important to determine if you’re planning a big or intimate wedding as that will have an influence on which wedding venue is right for you based on the reception space and ceremony site capacity. Look for a wedding venue with good catering options and check the hour restrictions if you’re planning on a late night. If you want an outdoor ceremony site aim for unobstructed mountain views.
