the bergreens

we are the bergreens: marc and brenda

  • husband and wife (madly in love)
  • adventure partners (built on trust)
  • engineers turned entrepreneurs (designing our lives)
  • and professional photographers (passionate about telling your story)

because love is contagious and so is summit fever

We specialize in capturing people in nature and in documenting the stories of adventurous couples. Our passion for storytelling has taken us to many of the most iconic National Parks and mountain wedding venues in the West. Check out for more of our mountain lifestyle photography.

Bergreen Photography is a Colorado wedding photography company built around our goal, mission, and mantra:
love. adventurously.

Love and adventure brought us together, pushed us to pursue photography, and continues to inspire us to capture your love in action. We met on an ice-climbing trip to the eastern Sierras while studying engineering and leading outdoor adventure trips at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California. We quickly learned that we make a great team both on and off the mountain. As our lives merged to create a new path and fresh meaning, we discovered a new way to experience our lives. We didn’t want to have one last adventure; we wanted our life and our love to be an adventure. The year we got married we also quit our desk jobs and started a photography business.

We believe…

  • Your wedding photography experience can be fun, comfortable, and creative.
  • By enjoying the people we’re with and the places we get to visit, we can create something worth remembering.
  • Focusing on your experience allows us to capture your memories in a way that is true to you.

From our mountain home in Evergreen, Colorado we travel throughout the state for Rocky Mountain wedding photography. We also frequently return to the west coast for California weddings. Check out our travel schedule to see when our paths might cross and don’t hesitate to get in touch.
